Dear Canyon Creek Elementary families (and incoming families!),

I’m pleased to serve as your PTA President for the past two years as we’e transitioned from “Covid times” back to our “new normal.” A little about me: My husband, Ryan, and I have four kids in grades 7, 5, 3, and a 4 year old, I’m a LPC, and I love our neighborhood school!

There are so many things that make Canyon Creek great, but I especially love how our PTA is able to support our school through funding things like our House System, helping cover teacher’s classroom needs, and extra fun things like Carnival and Talent Show!

For those of you entering our community via new school boundary lines or are just new to CCE, we want to welcome you with open arms! We want to honor the changes ahead of us with flexibility and kindness. Please let me know if you have any specific questions as we approach next school year. 

I’ve been working closely alongside our incoming president for next year, Sarah Dudley, as we evaluate our current programs, budget, and needs. We’re wanting to “reset and refocus” our efforts for 2024-25 to make sure we best serve our students, staff, and parents. 

We now have a "New Student Landing Page" on our website to help families get all the important details they need to get their Cougar successfully in the door next year that I invite you to check out. It has info about pre-ordering school supplies, spirit wear, and upcoming events like New Student Orientation, grade-level park playdates, and more. 

To our current CCE community, I've been overwhelmed with your kindness and willingness to accept change and welcome our new friends with open arms. You are truly the best of the best.
