We are so glad to have you as a new Cougar family and are excited to help you get ready for school next year! Below you'll find some helpful info to get your new Cougar in the door...
Cougar Cubs (Incoming Kinder)
- Attention incoming kindergarteners: Cougar Cubs is where it's at!
In the February, April & May, we are hosting a few on-campus events with our specials teachers (Library, Music, Art & Gym) so your cub can get familiar with the faces and places of CCE. See flyer with dates below! RSVP for the event here.
- There is a Popsicles Playdate at the Park on April 28th at 2pm for incoming kindergarteners at Canyon Creek Park! See flyer below.
- Mrs. Baker has some helpful info to get you in the door! There will be a Kindergarten Roundup event soon, but in the meantime, there's a helpful virtual orientation slideshow and a link to help the school get to know your cub.
Supply Pack Pre-Orders
Order your pre-packaged school supplies via our new vendor before June 2nd. Everyone's packs have their names on them and ship to the school for free. You can pick up up pre-ordered packs at the Back to School event in August (usually Friday before school starts) and deliver them to your child's classroom that same day.
If you miss the pre-order, don't worry! You can still order the packs and pay to have them shipped directly to you. See flyer below for more details!
Spirit Wear
On Fridays we wear our CCE Spirit Wear! Grab yours by preordering before July 15th. Store will reopen first week of school to purchase house shirts and a limited run of other spirit items, so if you see something you like snag it now! And while you're at it, please consider donating a shirt to a student in need via the same link!

- Incoming Kinder Form
Mark Your Calendars / Upcoming Events
- We will be hosting some casual grade-level Popsicle Playdates in the Park before school ends in order to help new and existing CCE families connect! Every grade has their own time/date to meet up at Canyon Creek Park. See flyer below for details.
- There is a New Student Orientation on May 14th. Hear from Mrs. Baker & PTA, meet teachers and tour the school. Afterwards meet up with current CCE students and bring money for Kona Ice! Flyer with info below.
- We will have a "Cougar Culture 101"document and Q&A for new students to get to know our programs and traditions at CCE at the New Student Orientation in May! Get excited!
- The school will host an on-site kindergarten roundup event soon. Be on the lookout for info from Mrs. Baker.
- In August (typically the Friday before school starts), we will have our Meet the Teacher event, supply & spirit wear pick ups, as well as our PTA Back to School Bash in the afternoon/evening! Time and details to be announced as the date approaches.

Volunteerism is the magic that makes our school so special. Our school is one of the smallest in the district, yet year after year we win top awards for volunteerism. It takes many hands to pull off all the programs and initiatives that benefit our students and teachers; please consider how you can donate your time as opportunities arise throughout the year!
