What does OUR PTA do?
CCE PTA has a long history of volunteerism and involvement in our small school. Here are a few ways we help out.
- We give a voice to our children in decisions that affect our school
- We fundraise to help fill in the gaps when necessary and to go above and beyond enriching the experiences of students and teachers (providing money for each teacher, admin, counselor, and specials teacher for classroom and learning needs, as well as special funding for covering administrative costs impacted by inflation, and other large dispersement requests like Scholastic readers, House app & wheel, and many more!
- We engage and connect families at our school through functions such as the Family Dance Night, Carnival, Bingo Night, Talent Show, Holiday Gift Shop, and more!
- We support the district Council of PTAs which provides valuable resources to underprivileged students in our district like clothes closet, scholarships through used book fair, etc.
- We ultimately support the goals and vision of our principal and staff!
We are a part of both Texas and National PTA organizations and uphold the mission, purposes, and values they put forth:
From txpta.org:
