Ticket, please! 2026 Showcase!

Registration for this year's Showcase, "Ticket, please!" opens Wednesday, 12/3 at 8pm, for both participants and act heads. Parents please fill out a participant registration form separately for each child. Act heads will be the only ones to fill out the Act Head Registration form.

Deadline is Wednesday, 12/17 at 11:59pm. We can not promise late registrations will be accepted since participation numbers will drive ticketing numbers.

If you have any questions please reach out Sarah Dudley and Jaclyn Smith at Showcase@ccepta.org.

When brainstorming for your child's act think of anything that takes a ticket. Movies, broadway, a concert, a sporting event, a karate demonstration, a cultural event like a Chinese New Years Dragon dance or Baliwood performance, travel - plane or train ticket, museums, dance or piano events, the circus or zoo, etc.

SPRUCE IT UP!

PTA is taking on the initiative to Spruce Up the front of the school's landscaping! To do this we are hosting a fundraiser to help raise the funds necessary to implement the already Mrs. Martin approved landscape designs created pro bono by Smith Lawn and Tree. Smith Lawn & Tree is the voted on and approved by the PTA board and at the May PTA general meeting vendor and will be our partner for this project.

Thank you to all who contributed as we raised $11,070!! The PTA will match up to $10,000 for this project. The actual implementation of the new landscaping will be in Fall 2025.

We have set up the fundraising in such a way that you can purchase individual landscaping items needed for the designs. Once the project is implemented and completed anyone who donates will receive a diagram of where their landscaping items are located.

If you need landscaping needs please consider Smith Lawn & Tree as they have worked with RISD grounds management, our school, Mrs. Martin and our PTA to help make the project succeed. Smith Lawn & Tree smithdfw.com or 817-921-2222.

We have created a special landing page for you on the menu under "Campus Information".

We have a New Student Landing Page with info and links to help your Cougar start strong this year.

Family CCE Handbook

Below you will find the link to Family CCE Handbook. This campus handbook contains information to help students and parents understand school specific expectations for our students at CCE. Students and parents also need to be familiar with the Student and Parent Guidebook and Student Code of Conduct, which are separate documents provided by RISD, and used to make decisions at the campus level. These documents contain detailed information important to all families such as attendance, truancy, policies, school expectations, and bullying.

Both handbooks are available on the Student Services Policies Page. Please take time to read and discuss this information with your child/children.

Code of Civility

Richardson ISD is a beautiful community in which safety, respect, and responsibility are an active part of the fabric of our schools, community, and staff. In order to have an environment conducive to learning, we will all follow the statements on the Code of Civility.

We are Safe

We promote safety, consideration, and kindness by refraining from threatening or harming others, damaging property, or engaging in bullying behavior.

We are Responsible

We foster a culture of respectful communication, inclusivity, and empathy by actively listening, calmly sharing opinions, addressing each other courteously, and embracing diversity.

We are Respectful

We uphold a positive learning environment by avoiding disruptions, resolving conflicts peacefully, managing negative responses, seeking help when needed, and adhering to school policies.
